The patented climate duvet ensures optimal temperature and moisture regulation, providing perfect climatic conditions for a pleasantly dry sleeping sensation. Thanks to the patented high-tech fiber climate zone system, excess heat is quickly dissipated, keeping the sleeping temperature within a comfortable range.

The duvet is cozy, lightweight, and ensures restful nights. It features a soft, snug, and skin-friendly cotton cover and a filling of pure goose down. Available in various warmth levels, it is washable at 60 °C.

With ethically sourced raw materials, you can sleep with a clear conscience. The Downpass certification guarantees the highest standards of nature, environmental, and animal protection. The down and feathers are harvested according to ethical standards, without live plucking or force-feeding, with breeding control, and allow traceability of supply chains.

Info for allergy sufferers

Mites

For optimum hygiene, BICO duvets can be washed at 60 °C in a standard washing machine, which effectively kills mites, bacteria and viruses. In the case of severe allergies, we recommend the use of an additional encasing to prevent mites and dust from penetrating the duvet.

Animal fibres

The filling material used contains high-quality down. If you are rarely allergic to down, we recommend an alternative product with non-animal fibres.

To avoid further allergic reactions, we only use certified non-toxic textiles.

Labels & certifications

Oeko-Tex Standard 100, product class 1

This product is made from materials that fulfil the requirements of STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. This means that it is tested for harmful substances and classified as harmless to health. Testing is carried out by independent institutes. The specified limit values for the STANDARD 100 are often higher than the national and international standards.

In addition, the product fulfils product class 1 with the strictest requirements and limit values that are actually intended for baby products.

Downpass

Downpass certification guarantees the highest level of nature, environmental and animal protection. It monitors and ensures the ethical production of down and feathers (without live plucking, without stuffing, with rearing control) as well as the traceability of the supply chains.

Care instructions

Pillows and duvets should be fluffed daily. This loosens up the filling material and ensures that volume and resilience are retained. Compressed fillings are loosened up again and regain their filling power.

Bedding that has become damp should be dried in warm air as quickly as possible. From time to time, it is advisable to bring the bedding out into the fresh air, but without prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Pillows and duvets should be washed in the washing machine or dry-cleaned once a year. Depending on the care instructions on the label, they can be washed at up to 60 °C. For down or feather fillings, a liquid mild detergent for delicate textiles or a special detergent for bedding is recommended, as conventional detergents and fabric softeners can damage the filling. After washing, the bedding should always be dried in the tumble dryer to loosen the filling again.

The lifespan of pillows is around 3-5 years, that of duvets around 6-8 years. Even with good care, pillows and duvets become unhygienic over time. A pillow will no longer provide the usual support, and the fillings in a duvet can clump together and impair thermal insulation.
